Iron Sky is an international co-production by Blind Spot Pictures & Energia Productions from Finland, 27 Films from Germany and Perfect Circle from Canada. The film will be produced by an international team based in Helsinki, Finland with filming taking place mostly in Germany.

Samuli Torssonen was the driving force behind Star Wreck, and started work on the series of science fiction parodies in 1992. Now he is working on Iron Sky as a producer and as the head of the CGI department. Samuli is one of the most skilled CGI artists in Finland and his passion is creating incredible visual effects and huge space battles, but he wants to see them in a story which people will not easily forget.
Science fiction writer Johanna Sinisalo has had five novels and more than 40 short stories published. She has been nominated for the Nebula Award and won the prestigious Finlandia Prize for her first novel, Not Before Sundown (aka. Troll – A Love Story). In addition she has worked in advertising and written numerous screenplays for TV. Johanna has brought a strong professionalism to the scriptwriting process, helping to turn ideas into a story.

Jarmo Puskala is somewhat of a one man think-tank, with an ability to think outside the box. He’s another veteran of Star Wreck, having joined the project in 1999. Today Jarmo is the community manager for Iron Sky, keeping the community and websites up to date. Wich is fitting since it was Jarmo’s run-away movie idea about nazis on the moon that started the whole thing.

Antti Hukkanen joined the Star Wreck project in 2002 as ”the trailer voice guy”. Currently he is the office manager for Energia and handles all your orders from the Store. Antti is a walking encyclopedia of military history and the in-house expert for speculative technology.
